Stuart Barrowcliff

Stuart Barrowcliff has extensive work experience in the insurance and banking industry. Stuart is currently working as an Underwriting Manager at AXA XL, a division of AXA, since September 2018. Prior to this, Stuart held positions such as VP, Senior Underwriter at XL Catlin from September 2011 onwards and Senior Underwriter at QBE Americas from November 2008 to August 2011.

Before joining the insurance sector, Stuart worked in various roles at Exporters Insurance as VP, Underwriter from May 2007 to November 2008. Stuart also held the position of Director at TD Securities from 2003 until 2007 and Director at Banca Intesa from 2001 until 2003.

During their earlier career, Stuart worked as an Executive Director at Rabobank from 1995 to 2001, as a VP at WestLB from 1991 to 1995, and as a VP at Security Pacific National Bank from 1982 to 1991.

Stuart Barrowcliff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Pomona College. Stuart also has a Master's degree in International Economics and Latin American Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
