As a sports scientist (MA) and with her experience in the medical field, Jenny Nisser combines scientific theory with therapeutic practice. From 2014 to 2020 she worked at the University Hospital (UKJ) in Jena in the Institute for Physiotherapy. According to the guiding principle of the UKJ " healing, researching, teaching" , her work was also multidisciplinary.
Healing: She developed movement therapy treatment concepts and implemented them in different patient groups.
Research: She has experience in planning and conducting clinical studies with different patient groups and has raised federal funds for research projects. One of these projects gave rise to an idea and a patent application, which is being continued in the spin-off saniva diagnostics GmbH.
Teaching: She supervised medical doctorates, advised on statistical issues, literature management programs and research.
