Kariny Maia

Kariny Maia is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at XLIM, where involvement began in March 2023. Prior to this role, Kariny worked as an intern in electronic systems with a focus on RF systems at XLIM from May to August 2022. Kariny has significant leadership experience as the President of the CAEE - Centro Acadênico de Engenharia Elétrica from August 2019 to September 2021, overseeing various academic events. Additionally, an internship in electrical maintenance was completed at Cimento Elizabeth in May to August 2021. Kariny contributed to research on the control of polyphase induction motors while at CNPq from August 2019 to July 2021. Earlier academic support was provided through a student tutoring program at PET ELÉTRICA UFPB from September 2017 to August 2019, which included research on electric motor control for electric vehicles. Kariny holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in electrical engineering from ENSIL-ENSCI (2021 - 2022) and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Universidade Federal da Paraíba (2016 - 2022).
