Chris Clarke has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Chris started their career as a Design Engineer at Phillips Components Ltd in 1989, and later worked as a Research Associate at Warwick University from 1990 to 1994. From 1994 to 1997, they were a Lecturer at Nanyang Technological University. Chris then worked at Submetrix as the Head of Design in 1997 before joining Pixelfusion as an Engineer in 1998. Chris worked at ClearSpeed from 1998 to 2001, where they held multiple roles including Marketing Team Member and Manager Hardware Design. In 2001, they became the Managing Director of Bristol Computing Devices Ltd. From 2002 to 2018, Chris was a Lecturer at the University of Bath. In 2015, they joined BioBeats as an Embedded Systems Guru, and in 2018, they started working as the Principal Development Engineer at XMOS. In October 2019, they took on the role of Director of Software at XMOS.
