Martin Kobetic

Martin Kobetic has been in the software engineering industry since 1992. Martin began their career at ArtInApples as a Software Engineer. In 1997, they moved to The Object People as a Software Developer, where they worked on TopLink for Smalltalk. From 2000 to 2021, they were employed at Cincom Systems as a Lead Software Engineer, where they worked on VisualWorks Smalltalk in the networking, distributed computing, and security/cryptography areas. Since 2005, they have been leading the Protocols group. In 2013, they moved to Shopify as a Software Developer. Currently, they are employed at XMTP, Inc. as a Software Developer.

Martin Kobetic obtained their Masters in Computer Science from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave between 1990 and 1995.
