Saul Carlin

Director, Product Management at XMTP

Saul Carlin is the Director of Product Management at XMTP. Prior to joining XMTP, Saul served as the Product Manager for Music & Podcasts at Apple. Saul was also the Co-Founder of Scout FM, an engineer and designer of Scout FM's voice platform for podcast radio. In 2020, Scout FM was acquired by Apple.

Before Scout FM, Saul served as the Head of Publisher Development at Medium.com from July 2014 to January 2017. In this role, Saul devised and led a partner program for top-tier subscription-based and ad-supported publications. Saul also developed strategy; shaped product roadmap; built and managed partnerships team; closed and executed key publisher and developer relationships.

From July 2011 to July 2012, Saul served as the COO of Irides, LLC. In this role, Saul managed the turnaround of a 25-FTE Internet hosting and services company which primarily served developers in the online media and publishing industry.

Saul began their career as the Director of Special Projects for POLITICO, TBD.com, and Allbritton Communications from September 2010 to July 2012.

Saul Carlin completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school). Prior to that, they completed a B.A. in Government and American Politics at Wesleyan University.

Saul Carlin reports to Matt Galligan, Co-Founder & CEO. Saul Carlin works with Shane Mac - Co-Founder & President, Peter Denton - Head of Growth.
