Maria Lutz

Maria Lutz has over 30 years of work experience in the medical field. Maria began their career in 1986 as a Drug Safety Officer at Dieckmann Arzneimittel GmbH. Maria then moved to Boehringer Mannheim in 1988, where they worked as a Drug Safety Officer until 1995. After that, they worked as a Turnusärztin at Krankenhaus Leoben und Bruck until 1998. In 1998, they became a Medical Director Pharmacovigilance at Pharmaceutical Research Associates, Inc. Maria then moved to Roche in 1999, where they were a Head Thesaurus Management until 2001. From 2001 to 2011, Maria was a Drug Safety Officer and Pharmakovigilanz at Pfizer Deutschland GmbH. Maria then became Head Pharmacovigilance at ZOETIS Deutschland (ehemals Pfizer Animal Health) until 2016. In 2016, they moved to DR. KADE / BESINS Pharma as a Drug Safety Officer. Finally, Maria is currently working as Head of Medical Science and Pharmacovigilance at MEDIKURA Digital Health GmbH since 2019.

Maria Lutz began their education in 1968 at Schönborn-Gymnasium Bruchsal, where they attended until 1972. Maria then moved on to Bismarck Gymnasium and earned their Abitur in 1977. Following this, they attended MNH Ulm and completed their Physikum in 1979. Maria then continued their studies at Heidelberg University where they earned their Staatsexamen in Humanmedizin in 1983.
