Pedro M S Pereira is an accomplished expert in marine surveying and environmental consulting with extensive experience across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Towing Supervisor, Surveyor, and USV Surveyor at XOCEAN since July 2021, Pedro utilizes Uncrewed Surface Vessels for comprehensive ocean data collection. As the Business Owner of Oceanauta Consultoria Ambiental & Estudos Oceanográficos since January 2016, Pedro successfully transformed the company into a profitable entity through effective business strategies. Previous roles include USV Surveyor at Geomara, Senior Seismic Acquisition Specialist at Magseis Fairfield ASA, Offshore Geophysicist at EGS International, and various positions at Schlumberger, culminating in the role of Chief Acquisition Engineer. Pedro holds a Master of Science in Geology/Earth Science and a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from Universidade Federal da Bahia.
