Jay Heppner

Chief Pilot at XOJET Aviation

Jay Heppner has extensive experience in aviation and leadership roles, currently serving as Vice President of Flight Operations and System Chief Pilot at XOJET Aviation since February 2019. Prior to this, Jay had a long tenure at United Airlines from March 1985 to December 2018, where Jay held the position of Captain and gained type ratings in various aircraft, including the B-747-4 and B-787. Additionally, Jay served as Director on the Board of Directors for United Continental Holdings, focusing on labor relations and social responsibility. Previous military experience includes roles as a Military Officer in the United States Air Force and the Nevada National Guard, where responsibilities included instructing pilots and leading platoons. Jay's coaching background includes serving as Head Coach for the Rugby Football Union and coaching the US Air Force Women's rugby team. Jay holds a Bachelor's degree in Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy.
