Faris Mecinovic

Faris Mecinovic is a Full-stack Engineer at Xola since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineer at Itekako (2022-2023) where they developed and implemented new features that enhanced the platform's functionality and customer experience. Before that, Faris worked as a Software Engineer at Metered (2022) where they developed front-end solutions for a tool to measure and charge for software usage. Faris also worked as a Web Development Bootcamp Instructor at CentarNIT (2022) and mentored 15 students in web development. In 2023, Faris became a BOLD Fellow at Network 20/20, where they received practical training in entrepreneurship and leadership. Prior to that, they were a Frontend Developer at Hygge Software (2021-2022) and Junior Frontend Developer at Ikresoft (2020-2021). At Hygge Software, Faris developed an application that received a pre-seed investment of $1.5 million, while at Ikresoft, they gained expertise in popular front-end technologies and worked across multiple teams.

Faris Mecinovic attended Medical High School from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Dentist technician. Faris then attended State University in Novi Pazar, beginning in 2020 and anticipated to end in 2024, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering. Faris also obtained additional certifications in Basics of C# programming, React - The Complete Guide (incl Hooks, React Router, Redux), and JavaScript(ES6) - The Complete Guide from CentarNIT and Academind in 2020.
