Christina Youn

General Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs at Xona Space Systems

Christina Youn has an extensive background in the space industry and government affairs.

Christina currently holds the position of General Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs at Xona Space Systems, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to this, Christina served on the Commercial Peer Review Board at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory starting in December 2021.

In 2022, they were the Director of the New Portfolio Investment Team at Boryung Corp. from May to September.

From 2019 to 2022, they held the position of Director of International Space Programs at Alpha Omega Group, LLC. Before that, they were the Chief of Congressional & Media Affairs, Space Programs at the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology & Logistics from January to November 2019.

Christina gained experience in government through their role as a Defense Legislative Fellow in the United States Senate from July 2017 to December 2018.

Starting in September 2010, they worked in various roles at the United States Air Force, including Program Manager for Space Programs, Foreign Disclosure and International Affairs, Strategic Communications Lead, and they were also a Presidential Management Fellow.

Christina Youn has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science & Sociology from UCLA. Christina then attended Georgetown University from 2017 to 2019, where they pursued studies in Legislative Studies. Currently, their education history also includes attendance at Columbia Law School, where they are working towards a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
