Miguel Seun Cardoso

Miguel Seun Cardoso has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Miguel Seun currently holds the position of Director of Global Partnerships at Xona Space Systems since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the European Operations Lead at Xona Space Systems from an unknown start date to April 2022.

In 2022, Miguel also worked as a VC Fellow at the Newton Venture Program, a joint venture between LocalGlobe VC and London Business School. The program focuses on training and developing investors to make the venture ecosystem more diverse, inclusive, and accessible.

Before venturing into the space industry, Miguel was the Co-Founder of SimplyAds, a company they established in 2016 and worked at until 2018. Miguel Seun also gained experience in investment banking at FBNQuest from 2013 to 2016.

Miguel's earlier work experience includes roles at Standard Chartered Bank as a Commercial Banking employee in 2011, and as a Summer Financial Analyst at Citi in the same year.

Miguel Seun Cardoso completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University between 2007 and 2010. In 2018, they enrolled in the London Business School and obtained an MBA, specializing in Finance (MIF) in 2019. Following that, in 2019, they joined Columbia Business School for an MBA International Exchange program where they focused on Globalization & Markets and the Changing Economic Landscape, with an elective taught by Prof. Joseph Stiglitz.
