Luca Della Toffola

Luca Della Toffola has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Luca is currently the Head of Product at xorlab since May 2021, after starting as a Software Engineer in February 2019. Prior to that, Luca worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Assistant at ETH Zurich from June 2018 to November 2018 and from February 2012 to May 2018, respectively. Luca also served as an Intern at Mozilla for three months in 2014. Luca has a background in research engineering, having worked as a Research Engineer at Harvard Medical School from August 2010 to January 2012 and at SUPSI from September 2008 to January 2012. Luca began their career as a Technical Apprentice at the City of Lugano, where they worked from September 2000 to August 2004.

Luca Della Toffola has a strong background in computer science, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from ETH Zürich in 2018. Prior to that, Luca completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Informatics from USI Università della Svizzera italiana from 2008 to 2010. Before pursuing their master's degree, Luca obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informatics from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
