Vehicle Controls Software Engineer at Xos

Akhil Hannegudda Ganesh has a diverse work experience in various industries. Akhil currently works at Xos Trucks as a Vehicle Controls Software Engineer, a role they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they were an intern at Xos Trucks, where they gained experience as a Control Systems Intern from October to December 2021.

Before joining Xos Trucks, Akhil pursued a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research. Akhil was a Graduate Student at the university from August 2019 to August 2021, with a focus on the Advanced powertrain and drivelines track, particularly in the field of EVs and HEVs.

Prior to their graduate studies, Akhil worked at Reliance Industries Limited as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. During their time there from August 2018 to April 2019, they were involved in the commissioning of a GE compressor, troubleshooting various problems, and overseeing shutdown activities. Akhil also completed a one-year Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) program at Reliance Industries, which helped him transition from an undergraduate recruit to the industry environment.

Akhil's work experience also includes an industrial training at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where they gained insights into the design, manufacturing, and shipping processes of helicopters. This training took place in May 2015.

Akhil Hannegudda Ganesh completed their education as follows:

1. From 2019 to 2021, they attended Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Automotive Engineering.

2. From 2013 to 2017, they attended the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

3. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Canara college in Mangalore, where they completed their Pre University Level Education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

4. From 2008 to 2011, they attended Canara High School in Urva and obtained their Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) with a focus on Science.

In addition to their formal education, Akhil also obtained two certifications:

1. In December 2015, they completed a certification in ANSYS Workbench at CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd.

2. In December 2014, they completed a certification in AutoCAD, also at CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd.
