Eddie Nieves

Eddie Nieves has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Their most recent position was as the Senior Director of IT at Xpansiv, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Information Technology at the same company.

Before joining Xpansiv, Nieves worked at Nieves Global Solutions as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since 2000. In this role, they provided various IT services to clients ranging from desktop support to LAN/WAN connectivity solutions.

Eddie also served as the Director of Information Technology at Zemax, LLC from 2020 to 2022. There, they focused on modernizing IT and information security, leading to a reduction in budget and improved efficiency.

Nieves was the Director of IT at James Farrell & Co in 2019, where they rebuilt the struggling IT operation and implemented programs centered around infrastructure, information security, and helpdesk support.

Prior to that, they held the position of Information Technology Operations Manager at Blueprint Technologies from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they led teams responsible for corporate technical operations and played a key role in obtaining ISO27001 certification.

From 2016 to 2017, Nieves worked as an Operations Manager at Versive (formerly Context Relevant), leading a team responsible for managing end-user compute, telephony, LAN/WAN, and information security.

Eddie also gained experience as the Senior Manager of Infrastructure & Operations at Author-it Software Corporation from 2015 to 2016, overseeing corporate and customer-facing operations, including infrastructure upgrades, InfoSec assessments, and protocol changes.

Nieves started their career at Google as an Operations Manager from 2003 to 2011. Eddie also worked as a Systems Administrator at RightOrder from 2001 to 2004.

Eddie Nieves attended G. Holmes Braddock High School from 1990 to 1992, obtaining a High School Diploma. Eddie then pursued General Studies at Florida International University from 1994 to 1999.
