Karl “Charly” Wachtel

Karl "Charly" Wachtel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Karl “Charly” co-founded XPLM Solution GmbH in 2005 and currently serves as the Managing Director. In this role, they are responsible for technology, sales, marketing, and business development. XPLM specializes in integration solutions and deployment services for the PLM industry. Prior to XPLM, Karl worked at Eigner as the Vice President of Engineering and General Manager Germany. Karl “Charly” played a key role in the development of the Agile e6 platform and CAD integrations. Before that, Karl held various management positions at Eigner, including General Manager PASIO, Manager Professional Services, and Head of SAP Competence Center. Their earlier work experience includes managing the product line "Small Index Drives" at Expert Maschinenbau, where they oversaw sales and optimization of manufacturing and development initiatives.

From 1979 to 1984, Karl "Charly" Wachtel attended Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering, specifically a Dipl.-Ing. (TH).
