Mark M. Smith

Mark M. Smith is a seasoned insurance executive with extensive leadership experience across various firms in the industry. Currently, Mark serves as Founding Partner of XPT, a specialty insurance distribution company established in June 2017. Previously, Mark held key roles including Senior Advisor for Business Development at Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford, President and Managing Director at RT Specialty in New York, and President of AmWINS Brokerage. Mark also served as President and CEO of Stewart Smith Group, a major national wholesale broker, and held positions at Horan, Goldman & Co of NY and Trans World Excess, Inc. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Bridgeport.
