Oren Balaban

Oren Balaban has a diverse work experience. Oren started their career as an Advanced Communication Systems Commander in the Israel Defense Forces from December 2012 to December 2013. Oren then became an Advanced Communication Systems Engineer in the same organization from December 2013 to December 2015. During this time, they gained extensive experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting IP networks and was also certified in CCNA R&S. Oren was responsible for establishing a fully operational mobile site with various transmission types.

After leaving the military, Oren joined Bynet Data Communications as a Unified Communications Engineer from January 2016 to January 2017. In this role, they independently designed and implemented complicated large-scale projects of Cisco Unified Call Manager. Oren also managed on-site networking and unified communication systems for enterprises, troubleshooting and solving critical configuration problems in different networks and vendors.

In 2020, Oren joined Western Digital as a Device R&D Engineer. In this role, they designed, implemented, and executed validation test algorithms to emulate flash storage operation in extreme conditions using C and Python. Oren had deep physical and practical knowledge of 3D/2D NAND flash devices and performed analysis of Western Digital's NAND arrays to optimize performance. Oren also utilized Spotfire for data analysis. Oren held this position until November 2022.

Most recently, Oren started working at Xsight Labs LTD in November 2022 as a VLSI Verification Engineer. No further information about this role is provided.

Oren Balaban completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University between the years 2017 and 2022. Prior to that, they attended Aleh High School for Sciences from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Oren has obtained a certification in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching from Cisco, although the specific details of when they obtained this certification are not provided.
