RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver large technical projects (a set of related projects for several clusters, several different teams).
  • Interact with neighboring teams, business stakeholders, etc. (from developer to C-level project defense).
  • Prepare project passports, presentations for stakeholders, roadmaps and other tools in a state of quite high uncertainty (because the project is complex and long).
  • Facilitate complex meetings (brainstorming sessions, syncs with team leaders and department directors).
  • Synchronize teams with each other.
  • Collect and analyze metrics of processes and technical product operation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have 5 years or more of project management experience or have a strong technical background (ideally was once a developer).
  • Be able to explain information clearly (ideally if you have defended projects at C-level or worked in consulting for a couple of years).
  • You understand technology, understand the peculiarities of service architecture design.
  • Know how to facilitate various events like brainstorming, etc.
  • Able to speak publicly and justify your point of view, prepare materials for discussion both with technical teams and C-level.
  • Able to plan and work in a matrix structure, with teams working Kanban and OKR.
  • Self-analyze data and own tools like Excel, Redash, understand statistics and various metrics.
  • You can find a common language with different levels (clearly tell developers why it is necessary, reasonably respond to the director of the department and explain the status of the project and what the risks are).
  • You are able to analyze processes and form a vision for their improvement.
  • Know what Scrum / Kanban is and know how to interact with teams that work in these methodologies.
  • Knowledge of API management, SDK, DWH, k8s.
