James Iacabucci

James Iacabucci has a substantial work experience spanning several industries and roles. James began their career in the finance sector, working as an Assistant Vice President at HSBC and later as a Vice President at Bankers Trust. In 1995, they co-founded CMR Technologies, where they served as a Co-Founder, Product Manager, and Engineer until 1998.

James then embarked on a long-term journey with Xtiva Financial Systems, co-founding the company in 1998 and helping it become a market leader in compensation and sales performance solutions for broker/dealers and wealth management firms. James played a key role as the company's CTO, leading the design and development of their initial product and further evolving the product line as the product manager, architect, and lead developer. James also oversaw the transition from on-premise to SaaS delivery and the migration of over 100 clients.

In 2006, James joined BroadWebAsia Inc as a Director and COO. James led the company in building a digital media platform in China, overseeing acquisitions and driving strategic initiatives with subsidiary executive teams.

Returning to Xtiva Financial Systems in 2009 as a Co-Founder, Director, and CTO, James helped address the company's scaling challenges and technical debt. James played a crucial role in transforming Xtiva into the leading sales compensation and performance management SaaS for wealth management firms.

In 2016, James joined CueContext as a Technology Advisor, where they contributed to the creation of a platform combining proximity, digital marketing, and eCommerce tools to enhance user experiences in physical venues.

Moving on to a blockchain startup in 2018, James served as a Co-Founder, leading the development of a decentralized finance and commerce Web3 platform. James managed a successful crowdfunding campaign, formed strategic partnerships, and built the MVP using various technologies.

Most recently, in 2021, James joined Xtiva Financial Systems once again, this time as the Director of Product and Engineering for their Classic Products division.

James Iacabucci is a Computer Engineering student who attended UC San Diego. James obtained a Google Analytics Certification from Google in August 2016. No further information regarding their education history is provided.
