Derek Nerenberg

Derek Nerenberg has worked in the technology industry since 1997. Derek began their career at Sloans Lake Managed Care as the Webmaster, where they were responsible for building and maintaining the Sloans Lake web infrastructure, as well as leading a Web Committee. In 2004, they moved to HealthTrans as a Team Lead and Software Developer. In 2006, they joined Xtivia as a Portal and Enterprise Engagement Manager, and later held roles as a Sr. Enterprise Architect and Engagement Manager, and a Portal and Enterprise Solutions Architect. In this latter role, they provided leadership and direct contributions on web portal projects, and was part of the team that won the 2012 Liferay Award for North America Partner of the Year.

Derek Nerenberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Denver Technical College, obtained between 1998 and 2001. Derek also holds an IBM Web Content Management certification.
