Houston Spencer

Houston Spencer is an accomplished communications and public affairs executive with extensive experience in corporate leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs at Xylem Inc. since June 2019, Houston has previously held significant positions, including Board Director at Media Development Investment Fund and Head of Engagement at Open Society Foundations. Prior experience includes leadership roles in brand and corporate communications at Rio Tinto and Alcatel-Lucent, along with advisory positions and contributions to prominent publications. Houston holds a Master's degree in Communication Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies and Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
