Tommy Szalasny

Tommy Szalasny is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at Y Combinator since June 2022, Tommy previously worked as an Associate Attorney at Silicon Legal Strategy from January 2020 to June 2022 and as a Managing Consultant at Edgeworth Economics, LLC from October 2018 to December 2019. Prior to these positions, Tommy was an Associate at Cooley LLP from November 2016 to October 2018 and held a Summer Associate role there in 2015. Tommy's early experience includes a Judicial Extern position at the US District Court, Northern District of California in 2014 and a tenure as a Senior Consultant at Bates White Economic Consulting from January 2009 to May 2013, where Tommy also served as Consultant I & II. Tommy holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law (2013-2016) and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University (2005-2009).
