Yoni Ben-Haroosh

Yoni Ben-Haroosh has extensive experience in IT management, with their most recent position being the Head of Information Technology at Compugen since May 2022. In this role, they are responsible for managing the IT and Security departments globally, overseeing IT infrastructure on cloud and on-premise, and managing R&D and QA environments across multiple data centers worldwide.

Prior to their current position, Yoni Ben-Haroosh worked at Yael Software LTD as the Head of IT & Information Security. During their tenure starting from January 2004, they built and led IT & Information Security departments, including Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and IT services. Yoni also managed company activities, supervisors, and employees, supporting 1200 users. Additionally, they directed and motivated staff members within the IT & Information Security departments.

Before their role at Yael Software LTD, Yoni Ben-Haroosh held the position of IT Manager at Lambda Crossing from January 2002 to January 2004. In this role, they were responsible for designing, building, and delivering integrated tunable optical components. Yoni also had overall responsibility for the company's systems, including the administration and maintenance of the MS Exchange and Windows 2000 environment.

Prior to Lambda Crossing, Yoni Ben-Haroosh worked as the MIS Manager at Digital-Appliance Storage Systems. Their responsibilities involved overseeing the company's systems and worldwide communications via VPN. Yoni also managed the MS Exchange and Windows 2000 environment and provided IT staff management and training. Yoni held this position from January 2001 to January 2002.

Yoni Ben-Haroosh's career began in the year 2000 as an IT Manager at Infogate Online, a startup specializing in online content games infrastructure. In this role, they had full sys-admin responsibilities, managed a team of technicians, and supervised the construction of a data center designed for high business continuation levels and reliability with advanced load balancing components. Yoni held this position until January 2001.

Yoni Ben-Haroosh completed a VMWare Admin and Implementation program at John Bryce in 2010. In 2007, they attended The Technion for a Senior IT Management course. In 2006, Yoni participated in the Check Point FW- Implementing and Administering program at Check Point Education and Training. In 2002, they received training in Linux/UNIX Administration at Sela. It is unknown whether Yoni obtained any degrees from these educational institutions.
