Axel Schmidt

Axel Schmidt has extensive experience in the field of engineering and technical marketing, currently serving as a Senior Field Application Engineer at YAGEO Group since July 2021, following its acquisition of KEMET Electronics Corporation. Previously, Axel held multiple roles at KEMET Electronics, including Senior Field Application Engineer and Senior Technical Marketing Manager, where responsibilities included content generation and tradeshows organization. Axel's career began at TE Connectivity, where a role as a Sales Engineer involved facilitating communication between customers and internal teams. Axel Schmidt received an Allgemeine Hochschulreife from Albert-Martmoeller-Gymnasium in Witten, Germany from 1974 to 1983.
