Erik Budde

Erik Budde is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur in the personal finance and technology sectors. Currently serving as General Manager of Personal Finance at Yahoo since October 2023, Erik has previously contributed significantly to various companies, including Next Edge as an Author of the Crypto Curious newsletter and GigaPoints as CEO, where an algorithmic personal finance product was launched, acquiring over 10,000 customers. Notably, at Upstart, a growth strategy was implemented that positioned the company favorably in the competitive personal loan market ahead of its IPO. Erik also has extensive experience as CEO of T2 Media, COO of Trouvé Media, and held multiple roles at Yahoo, Intuit, and @Home. Erik holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Stanford University and a BA in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
