Shawn Bechtol

Shawn Bechtol is a Sales Development Representative at dataPARC since February 2023, bringing a diverse background in fisheries management and biology. Prior experience includes serving as a Fisheries Biologist II at Yakama Nation Fisheries from 2017 to 2022, where management of Fisheries Technicians and bio-sampling of salmon and steelhead were key responsibilities, along with database management. As a Fisheries Biologist, monitoring and evaluation of the Klickitat sub-basin fishery were conducted. Prior roles include Fisheries Technician at WDFW, focusing on electro-fishing and bio-sampling, and involvement in the Mid-Columbia Coho Restoration Project. Earlier in career, Shawn held positions as a finish carpenter and fly shop manager, where responsibilities encompassed sales, operations, and guiding in Washington Rivers. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Eastern Washington University.
