Madelyn Dawson

Madelyn Dawson is an experienced editorial professional currently serving as an Editorial Intern at SPIN since May 2024. Madelyn has held multiple leadership roles at Yale Broadcasting Company (WYBC) since November 2021, including General Manager and Broadcast Director, while cohosting a weekly music and talk radio show entitled "lyrical." At The Yale Herald, Madelyn has progressed through various editorial positions, ultimately becoming Editor in Chief, overseeing features and culture sections, and mentoring new writers. Additional experience includes a Music Editorial Internship at Paste Magazine, contributing writing for Industry Magazine, and serving as a Poetry and Nonfiction Reader for The Yale Review. Madelyn began academic pursuits at Yale University in 2021, following a high school diploma from Staten Island Academy in 2021.
