Yunan Nie is currently a Hematology/Oncology Fellow at Yale Cancer Center since July 2023. Previously, Yunan served as Chief Medical Resident and Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from July 2019 to June 2023. Yunan began a research career as a Research Assistant at Buchon Lab, focusing on diet-induced plasticity in Drosophila melanogaster. Additional research internships at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh involved studying cytokine roles in lung epithelial regeneration and cancer. Yunan's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Cornell University. Prior educational achievements include a high school diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
