Huan Li has a diverse range of work experience. They started their professional journey in 2016 as a Tutor and Mentor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they also served as a Mentor, Undergraduate Research Assistant, and Teaching Resident Assistant. In 2018, Huan held internships at BNP Paribas and GSK, where they worked as a Compliance Intern and a Summer Intern, respectively. They continued their education at Yale University School of Medicine as a Research Assistant from 2019 to 2021. During their time at Yale, they also took on various roles at Yale New Haven Health, serving as a Consultant Intern and later as a Summer Intern. Huan then joined Yale Ventures as a Blavatnik Associate. In addition, they were actively involved in leadership positions at the Yale Graduate Student Consulting Club as the Vice President of Pro-Bono and later as the President. Huan also held the role of DEI Chair at Yale University. Finally, they were a Fellow at Yale as part of the Gruber Science Fellowship program.
Huan Li earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Yale University between 2021 and 2025. Prior to that, Huan obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Informatics from Yale School of Public Health from 2019 to 2021. Huan Li also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which was completed from 2015 to 2019. Huan Li's high school education was completed at Purnell School, resulting in a High School Diploma. Additionally, Huan Li has obtained certifications in Data Incite Lab Summer Research Program and First AID/NSC CPR.
