Matthew Claydon's work experience begins in 2006 when they worked as a Commercial Executive Southern Region for CHEP UK Ltd. In this role, they managed accounts for major retail groups and resolved issues related to equipment control at distribution centers.

From 2008 until 2011, Matthew worked as a Sales Manager for City Link. Their responsibilities included managing the commercial aspects of the Norwich Depot, growing and maintaining business revenue, and exceeding sales targets.

Starting in 2011, Matthew joined OSRAM as a Regional Sales Manager. Matthew supplied lighting solutions to the electrical wholesaler and distributor trade market. Following their tenure at Philips Lighting, Matthew worked for Signify as a National Account Manager from 2018 until 2022. In this role, they were responsible for trade distribution and managed national accounts.

Most recently, Matthew is employed as the Head of Sales | Trade Channel for Yale Home Global starting in 2022.

Matthew Claydon's education history includes earning a Distinction Award in HND Business Studies from Staffordshire University, which they attended from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they enrolled at Anglia Ruskin University from 2003 to 2005 and obtained a BA (Hons) Business Administration Degree with Marketing, achieving a 2.1 classification.
