Wei-Ting Shih

Wei-Ting Shih is a candidate for a double major in Political Science and History at Yale University, with extensive involvement in legal and international relations initiatives. Currently serving as a Legal Communications and Marketing Intern at Lawyers Without Borders, Wei-Ting also holds various leadership roles within the Yale International Relations Association, including Director General of Committees for YMUN Latin America and Assistant Secretary General of Branding and Technology for YUMUNC. Wei-Ting has contributed as a Research Assistant at the Yale School of Management's Behavioral Lab and the Yale Institution for Social and Policy Studies under Dr. Allison P. Additionally, Wei-Ting has participated in significant projects related to public financial institutions and human rights at Yale Law School. Past experiences include serving on the Student Advisory Board at the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking and an internship at The Broad Center. Training at prestigious institutions such as ESSEC Business School, Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, and Heidelberg University further complements Wei-Ting's academic background and professional expertise.

Yale International Relations Association

The Yale International Relations Association (YIRA) is a 501(c)(3) student organization at Yale University. Founded in 1969 by a group of individuals who wished to promote a better understanding of global affairs after the events of the turbulent 1960s, YIRA's mission is to raise awareness of and foster debate about international relations and global affairs through a number of unique programs.
