Mary C. Christoffersen

Mary C. Christoffersen, DNP, MBA, RN, CNOR, has extensive experience in healthcare management, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Yale New Haven Health since September 1998. In this role, Mary oversees strategic planning and operations for various services, including Surgical Services, Emergency Department Services, and Women & Infants Services. Mary has held multiple leadership positions within Yale New Haven Health, where responsibilities have included managing nursing operations, patient care services, and staff education. Additionally, Mary has a background in project management from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. Mary’s academic qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Nursing Administration from Quinnipiac University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MBA from Southern Connecticut State University, and an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing from St. Vincent's College.
