Matt Song

Matt Song is an accomplished individual with extensive experience in leadership and research roles at esteemed institutions. As the Director of Membership for the Yale Debate Association since August 2019, Matt has led training and development efforts that contributed to the team's national ranking. In the role of Co-President at the Yale Policy Institute, Matt coordinated multiple policy research centers, previously serving as the head of Foreign Policy and Technology Policy. Internships at Bridgewater Associates and Yale University focused on investment and strategic analysis, respectively. Additionally, experience as an Educational Consultant for Dialogy involved developing a parliamentary debate curriculum, while an internship at the U.S. Department of State involved researching Chinese engagement in North Macedonia. Matt is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics, and Economics at Yale University, following a high school diploma from Shanghai American School.
