Ben Fisch

Ben Fisch is an Assistant Professor at Yale University since July 2022 and serves as Co-founder and CEO of Espresso Systems since November 2020. Ben is also a PhD student in Computer Science at Stanford University, where enrollment began in September 2015. Additionally, Ben has held advisory roles at Protocol Labs, where Ben designed the Proof-of-Replication mining protocol for Filecoin, and at Chia Project, which focuses on green cryptocurrency technologies. Previous experience includes advisory positions at Eco, a software developer role at 1010data, and research positions at Columbia University's Cryptography Laboratory and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Ben Fisch earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
