Hani Mowafi

Hani Mowafi is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine since August 2013. Mowafi also serves as the Chief of the Section of Global Health & International Emergency Medicine and Director of the GHIEM Fellowship. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Boston University, with an additional role as Co-Director of the section of Public and Global Health, and as an Affiliate Faculty member at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. Mowafi's consulting work includes roles at Physicians for Human Rights and UNHCR. Educational qualifications include an MPH in International Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, an MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and a BSE in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Duke University.
