Xi Chen is currently an Associate Professor of Health Policy and Economics at Yale University, having held various academic positions there since 2012, including Assistant Professor and Faculty Fellow. They also serve as a PEPPER Scholar at the Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Centers and have been actively involved in research and consultancy roles with organizations such as the National Institutes of Health and the World Bank. Xi Chen is an Advisory Committee Member for the Ageing, Longevity and Health initiative with the International Alliance of Research Universities and has contributed to public health research as the former President of the China Health Policy and Management Society. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Cornell University in 2012.
