Owen OKOKO is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering, data research, and leadership development. Currently serving as the D&I Field Deployment Lead and DrillOps Performance Engineer at SLB since April 2024, Owen oversees DrillOps hardware installations and provides training to rig site crews. An alumnus of the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa, Owen actively engages in community transformation initiatives. Previous roles include Data Researcher Associate at 60 Decibels, Research Scholar at Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, and Independent Consultant at Deloitte, where Owen facilitated YALI program implementation. Additionally, Owen has served as a Certified Mindfulness and Meditation Trainer and has contributed to youth development as a YouthLead Ambassador for Making Cents International. Owen holds a Business and Entrepreneurship certificate from the University of Iowa and degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering as well as Airline Transport Pilot License.
