Mina Abadir

Mina Abadir has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mina is currently working as a Finance Manager at Yalla Fel Sekka since January 2022. Prior to this, from 2021 to December 2021, they held the position of Chief Accountant at mylerz Co.

From 2020 to 2020, Mina worked as a Finance Manager at GroupM. In this role, they served as a business partner with Operational General Managers, providing financial insights and recommendations for publications across the GCC region. Mina also drove the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process for each business unit, and worked closely with GMs to identify revenue gaps and develop strategies to close them.

Before their time at GroupM, Mina held various roles at Mindshare. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Finance Manager, where they partnered with Operational General Managers to provide financial insights and recommendations. Mina also drove the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process for each business unit and collaborated with GMs to identify revenue gaps. From 2015 to 2016, Mina served as a Chief Accountant and was responsible for monthly account closing, statutory accounting, and ensuring compliance with fiscal laws and regulations. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Finance Assistant, responsible for monthly account closing, statutory accounting, and compliance. From 2010 to 2013, Mina held the role of Senior Accountant, where they performed monthly account closing, statutory accounting, and ensured compliance with fiscal laws and regulations.

Mina's earlier work experience includes roles as an External Auditor at Habib & Co. from 2008 to 2010, where they performed audits and assisted in closing books. Additionally, they worked as an Accountant at Filopateer for Engineering & Supplies from 2007 to 2008, where they were responsible for bank reconciliation, balance sheet reporting, and journal entries.

Mina also gained valuable experience through summer training programs at Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) in 2006 and Thomas Cook in 2005.

Mina Abadir completed high school at Elsaidia Secondary School from 2001 to 2003. Following that, from 2003 to 2007, Mina pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus in Accounting from the Faculty of Commerce at Benha University in the English Section.
