Cosmin Bobaru

Cosmin Bobaru is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Team Leader of Procurement and Inventory at Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. since August 2018. Cosmin effectively leads a cross-functional team responsible for managing significant stock levels and has previously held roles including Product Manager, where Cosmin oversaw product development from conception to launch. Prior to Yamaha, Cosmin engaged in research on Agile project management methods for the automotive sector during a Bachelor thesis at 3DSE Management Consultants GmbH, and implemented Lean management practices as an intern at Mercedes-Benz Romania S.R.L. Cosmin also contributed to the HAN Formula Student Team, leading the powertrain department and serving in the chassis department. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Business Administration from TIAS School for Business and Society and degrees in Business Administration and Automotive Engineering from Hochschule München University and HAN University of Applied Sciences, respectively.
