Colin Christie

Colin Christie is an experienced mechanical engineering professional with a strong background in the mining and coal preparation industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Mechanical Engineering at Yancoal Australia Ltd since April 2018, Colin has previously held roles at Glencore Coal as a Mechanical Engineer and at GlencoreXstrata, where responsibilities included ensuring mechanical and statutory compliance for coal preparation plants. Colin has also worked as an Engineering Services Supervisor at PWCS and as a Shift Engineer at Gretley Colliery Wallsend. Colin holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of South Australia and an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle TAFE.
