Tim Oliphant

Tim Oliphant is an experienced mining professional with a comprehensive background in open cut coal operations and management. Currently serving as Open Cut Mine Manager at Yancoal Australia Limited since June 2016, Tim previously held the position of Mining and Technical Services Manager at Peabody Energy from March 2015 to May 2016. Prior experience at Rio Tinto spanned over eight years, during which Tim held multiple roles including Mining Superintendent and Mine Planning Superintendent. Tim's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering from The University of Queensland, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle, and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from CQUniversity.
