Denis Bykov

Denis Bykov has over a decade of experience in the tech industry, currently serving as the Head of the Search team at Yandex Maps since September 2011, leading a geo-distributed team of more than 40 professionals specializing in machine learning, data science, and backend development. Denis has previously held various roles at Yandex, including Head of the Search Knowledge Graph team and Team Lead in the Search Linguistics Department. Prior to Yandex, Denis worked as a .NET Developer at Exigen Services and as a Technical Specialist at SPbSU ITMO. Denis holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in IT from ITMO University, completed in 2012 and 2010, respectively.
