Jennifer Dragan has a broad range of work experience. Jennifer began working in 2012 as a Public Relations Intern for the American Red Cross, where they delivered press releases and spotlight stories to local media outlets, visited schools and public works offices to draft Red Cross volunteers and provide First-Aid Training, and supplied the American Red Cross's Tweet Deck for the entire San Luis, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles area during Hurricane Sandy. In 2013, they took on the role of Writing and Rhetoric Instructor at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they proctored GRE Testing and developed study programs for test-takers, revised master's theses for graduate students in a variety of academic disciplines, and coached students through research projects and database use. In 2014, they became a Graphic Designer for University Graphic Systems, designing new branding initiatives for the Graphic Communication Department and collaborating with Cal Poly Students to design personal business cards and resumes for upcoming career fairs. In 2017, they joined YAPI as a Project Manager, II, Operational Specialist, and Customer Success Specialist. Finally, from 2012 to 2017, Jennifer worked as a Business Development Manager for Barnes & Noble, Inc., managing all corporate and institutional accounts for the area, raising thousands of dollars for local schools and literacy organizations through bookfairs, drives, and fundraisers, and aiding local schools in creating STEM/STEAM spaces.
Jennifer Dragan received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 2011 and 2015, and also earned a Minor in Graphic Communication from the same institution.
