Mehmet Yasin Akpinar

Mehmet Yasin AKPINAR has over 9 years of work experience in various roles in the field of research and development engineering. Mehmet Yasin started their career as an Intern at Havelsan in 2012, and also worked as an Intern at TAI in the same year. In 2013, they joined İdea Teknoloji Çözümleri as an R&D Engineer. In 2016, they joined Yapı Kredi Teknoloji as an R&D Engineer Specialist and worked in this role until 2019. Mehmet Yasin then assumed the role of Project Engineer from 2019 to 2020. From 2020 to 2023, they served as a Senior R&D Engineer and later as a Principal R&D Engineer at the same company. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Principal R&D Engineer at Yapı Kredi Teknoloji.

Mehmet Yasin Akpınar holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University from 2008 to 2013. Mehmet Yasin has also obtained various certifications, including the Koç Dialogues Development Program from Emeritus in 2021, and several specializations from Coursera such as Engineering Project Management, Software Design and Architecture, Deep Learning, TensorFlow in Practice, and Developing Applications with Google Cloud Platform, all obtained between 2019 and 2020.
