Ali Yalcin

Ali Yalcin has over 20 years of experience in the field of IT audit and information security. Ali has held various leadership positions in reputable companies such as Yapı Kredi, Odeabank, Erdemir, BankPozitif, and Deloitte. Their roles have included Director of IT Audit & Information Security Audit & Business Process Audit, Chief Information Security Officer, Group IT Audit Head, and Deputy Chief Audit Executive - IT Audit. Ali has successfully managed teams and departments, developed audit regulations and plans, performed IT audits, and implemented various projects related to information security. Ali is skilled in COBIT IT governance framework and has extensive experience working with diverse clients from various industries.

Ali Yalcin completed their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Middle East Technical University from 1996 to 2001. Before that, they attended Ankara Ataturk Anadolu Lisesi from 1990 to 1996, where they studied Mathematics & Science in high school. In addition to their education, Ali Yalcin also obtained several certifications, including Scrum Team Member, Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer™ (CDPSE™), Inspirational Leadership, HBX | Harvard Business School - Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC), and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA).
