Christopher Leber

Christopher Leber, PhD, serves as the Head of Applied Science at Yard Stick PBC, leading research in data and soil science for soil insights technologies with a focus on machine learning models. Previously, Christopher built and managed the data science function at Shiru, contributing to the development of a platform for plant protein discovery, and held roles in data science at Sirenas, developing drug discovery platforms by leveraging data mining techniques. Early career experiences include a graduate researcher role at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, extensive teaching assistance, and aquatic management positions at UCLA. Academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Marine Biology from UC San Diego, complemented by a BS in Marine Biology from UCLA.
