Adnan Atoum

Adnan Atoum is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as a Professor at Yarmouk University since September 1990, Adnan also holds the position of Chief Editor for the Jordanian Journal of Educational Sciences, an international refereed research journal supported by the Ministry of Higher Education in Jordan. Adnan has previously held significant leadership roles, including Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Dean of College of Education at Al Albayt University from January 2019 to August 2021, as well as President of the University of Sharjah from August 2006 to August 2010 and Dean of Research and Graduate Studies. Adnan's educational background includes a PhD in Social-Cognitive Psychology from Texas Christian University and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Psychology from Texas Southern University and the University of Jordan, respectively.
