Iaad Sartawi

Iaad Sartawi currently serves as the Director of the Accreditation & Quality Assurance Center at Yarmouk University since October 2022. From September 2016 to October 2022, Iaad held the position of Chairman of the Accounting & Finance Department at Applied Science University and served as Chairman of the Accounting Department and Associate Professor of Accounting at Yarmouk University from February 2009 to September 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Accounting from the University of the West of England (2005-2009), a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University (1999-2001), a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Yarmouk University (1993-1998), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Yarmouk University (1988-1992). Early education was completed at Al-Jahra Secondary School in Kuwait, focusing on the Scientific Track (1983-1986).
