Claire Coleman

Claire Coleman is an experienced educator currently teaching English to children aged 3-12 at Yaruki Switch Group since June 2019. Previous experience includes physician shadowing in pediatric care at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, where patient histories were taken and basic newborn exams were performed. In the summer of 2017, Claire served as an undergraduate research assistant in the Microbiology Department at Tennessee Technological University, focusing on analyzing the microbiome of local salamanders to identify potential antibiotics. Additionally, research was conducted at Centre College on the effects of a liquid oxygen supplement, culminating in a presentation of findings at a school-wide conference. Claire held a position as a teacher assistant at Centre College and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2018.
